USPA Suspends All Polo Due To Ongoing COVID-19 Concerns

Mar 17, 2020 - 7:04 PM
For Immediate Release

Wellington, FL – March 17, 2020 – Due to rising health concerns related to the COVID-19 pandemic, and recommendations made by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to cease all gatherings of more than ten people, the United States Polo Association (USPA) has made the difficult decision to suspend all USPA Tournaments and Events, including the ongoing GAUNTLET OF POLO® and the U.S. Open Women’s Polo Championship™, for the next 14 days. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we prioritize the health and safety of our players, teams and their organizations, umpires, partners, staff, and everyone who helps put on polo events. We will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation closely, and will notify you if a different course of action is deemed necessary. For more updates, please visit uspolo.org.

For inquiries related to stadium tickets, please contact boxoffice@internationalpoloclub.com. For inquiries related to Pavilion brunch tables, please contact brunch@internationalpoloclub.com.

We encourage everyone to take precautions recommended by the CDC and take care of your families and loved ones as we face these difficult times.
